I love these images by New York photographer Jon Shireman. He soaked various flowers in a liquid nitrogen bath and then smashed them, recording their destruction with a high speed camera. The results are just beautiful.
All very reminiscent of the cold weather we are having again after a failed attempt at spring in February.
