{Interior} Old factory converted to industrial home in Spello by Paola Navone
I came accross them again going through my bookmarks for future post ideas, and since you seemed to enjoy my previous post, I thought you would also like to see these gorgeous images by Max Zambelli. He photographed this stunning industrial space designed by Paola Navone in Spello, Italy. Originally from Turin, Paola Navone is an architect, interior designer and art director.
This 17th century factory was successfully turned into a 500 sqm open plan apartment. It is full of ideas to keep your creative juices inspired. There are so many details that I love in this home! I love the industrial features, the contrast between the massive rustic beams & the sleek fireplace, the 10 metre high ceilings. The re-use theme that reappears throughout, from reclaimed wood, to up-cycled pieces of furniture. Finally, the cement floor tiles make it just perfect, in particular the clever transition with the hexagonal Moroccan cement floor tiles and the wooden floors.
If you are wondering about that sofa it is designed by Paola Navone for Linteloo.

{Design} Royal System modular shelving
I went into twentytwentyone today on Islington's Upper street and was pleased to see that they now have the recently relauched Royal system shelving system. It is amazing to see that this minimalist design dates back from 1948. Danish designer Poul Cadovius created the Royal System for the furniture brand dk3. You can customise the Royal System to your own needs: bookshelves, media storage, workstations, kitchen storage... It offers great possibilities to extend and reconfigure to follow the user's needs. I look forward to seeing more interiors with these gorgeous, modular and lightweight units. It comes in oak, walnut veneer on MDF or in laminate.

{Design} The instant table by Why the friday
I love this idea by German team Why the friday for the ingenious instant table. These beautiful table legs clamp easily onto any size table top, so you can choose any material and any size. It will make the most challenging floor plans work.
The colour is also pretty cool!

{Design} Pixel table by Studio Intussen
This Pixel table is such a clever project by the Dutch Studio Intussen. It is a really clever and simple idea, where sliding bamboo battens leave storage space while also forming a cube table. The sticks can be formed into a cube again as they adjust to their content.

{Design} Alphabet chest by Kent & London
I love this Alphabet chest of drawers by Kent and London. It is inspired by vintage printing blocks and made of solid oak. I saw it on a few blogs, but it;s even better in real life. The shop has a showroom in Whitstable and I saw it while on a day out there.

{Kids} Sustainable baby bed
This is a lovely cardboard cot by Album di famiglia. It comes plat packed and is simple to assemble. I love it plain, but you can decide to customise it.
