With the new year, I am on the hunt for some accessories for my sofa. So I thought that I would design a bunch of them on my Society6 shop. I then got a bit sidetracked and started getting lost in it's giant maze. There are so many cool designs, it is worth mixing up pattern, and scale.
I might get some for the kids' bedroom also.

{Interiors} Top 10 coolest kids bunk beds

Bunk beds are a fantastic way of saving space and avoiding the bedtime argument of who switches the light off and when. Each child has some privacy as well as control over their sleep.
Since our 2 years old and 8 years old share a bedroom, we decided to tackle the sleeping arrangements last weekend.

{Design} Woven by Eleanor Pritchard

One of my "coup de coeur" at DesignJunction 2013 was Eleanor Pritchard's work. From her studio in South East London, Eleanor Pritchard and her team design and sample their collection of wool blankets and furnishing fabrics. The collections are developed using high quality yarn and woven by well respected british weavers in a small traditional mill in Camarthenshire in West Wales.
The blankets use bold geometric patterns with a strong graphic feel, the palette includes solid colours and cross hatched neutrals together with sharp accents. It is great modern reinterpretation of midcentury English design. You can find the gorgeous throws in her online shop.

{Interiors} Fauna animal cushions by Areaware

I am loving these animal pillows by Ross Mendes for Areaware, I think they would make a great gift. The pillows are hand printed on 100% organic cotton and filed with hypoallergenic wadding. They are made in Brooklyn, NY, but you can order them from here if you are in Europe.
They have a huge choice of cool animals: zebra, elephant, koala and many more. I particularly like the Zebra!
