{Design} Ribbed pendant sconce by Pigeon Toe Ceramics

I love this wall-mounted pendant sconce by Pigeon Toe Ceramics. It is a made to order ceramic sconce suspended by a yellow cloth cord through a steel bracket.
Only held in place by tension, it is infinitely adjustable. So perfect to place on the side of your bed and never get that glare in the corner of your eye. The unglazed porcelain shade is ultra-thin for translucency and has lines for texture, with an interior clear glaze.
I particularly like the yellow cord against the black. Recurrent theme it seems...

{Interiors} Gorgeous Z1 Black cotton lamp by Ay Illuminate

What a fabulous lamp! I first saw it at my friend Anna's house, and I have since seen it popping up here and there on the blogosphere. 

I just love the Z1 Black cotton lamp by Ay Illuminate, it is in all natural bamboo and handwoven cotton from Ethiopia. 

Although it is huge and not so suited for low ceilings, I think I found the perfect chistmas present for my in-laws new home in the South of France...

{DIY} Concrete lamp pendant

I thought you might enjoy some DIY for your weekend to avoid facing the blizzard. Enjoy!

Concrete has to be one of my favourite materials. It is tactile, textural, strong, versatile, cheap... I am completely obsessed with original concrete uses! So here is the latest one I have found: a concrete lamp pendant.
This project is very simple to do once you've gathered all the bits you need. The step by step instructions are so easy to follow and will only take about 2 hours to complete. I definitely have it on my must make list!

{Design} 123 Lamp by Federico Floriani

Need a task lamp? Look no further. 123 is a desk lamp designed by Federico Floriani. It is composed by three parts: 2 metal bent legs and 1 oak main body. Simple.
The legs wrap around the oak body using the only elasticity of the metal and the main wood shape can be orientated in any direction, pointing the beam of light where needed. Gorgeous!
