{Design} CD player by Ideo
I just love the simplicity of the design of this wall mounted cd player. You just place the disc in and pull the string to start it playing. The string acts as an on/off button and the disc mimics a wall mounted fan when it spins. The speakers are built into the frame and additional controls are on top. It was conceived by Naoto Fukasawa, at Ideo in Tokyo for Muji.
This award winning design is also in the Moma store in New York.

Le klint, undercover
I really like this acrylic light fitting. It comes in 3 different sizes: 24cm, 34cm and 44cm diameter. The concept, by Philip Bro Ludvigsen for Le Klint, gives the owner total freedom and flexibility. The inner shades can be added to give texture and/or color to the light fitting.
My favorite inner shade is smoke.
